Board President, joined the school board for the second time in March 2021. Sheri retired from Lincoln Financial Group as a trainer in December 2021. She received her Associates degree from Indiana University Fort Wayne. Sheri has been a member of Central Ministries since 2003 and has served in the children's ministry since 2005. She enjoys gardening, reading, hiking, kayaking and bike riding in her free time,

Sheri is married to Kent Winans, and they have 2 children (1 is a CCS alumni) and 6 grandchildren.

Vice President, joined the school board in 2022. Heath is the Director of Logistics at LH Medical and also operates a camper rental business. He has his Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University Fort Wayne. Heath has been a member of Central Ministries since 2020 and has been a part of Life groups, marriage mentors, and previously children’s Sunday School.

Heath is married to Stephanie and have 2 kids (who currently attend CCS), 1 crazy dog, and 1 outdoor cat. Heath loves to camp, hunt, travel, and spend time with family.

Treasurer, joined the school board in December 2020. She is the Director of Finance and HR at Central Ministries. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy. Melissa has been a member of Central Ministries since April of 2012. She loves to volunteer at the Perk Coffee shop on Sunday mornings. Melissa is married to Chad and they have 1 daughter. Their daughter attended CCS from 3 years through 7th grade. In her free time, she enjoys watching our daughter play basketball, being around family and friends, and watching sports…mainly Georgia Football.

Tami Werling, Board Secretary: current term began Oct. 2020. She has also served several other board terms in the past, including the original start-up committee under guidance of Pastor Don. She has also served in many other volunteer roles with CCS since the school’s beginnings.

Tami graduated from Univ. of Indianapolis with an A.S. in Paralegal studies. She is married to Jon and has been the bookkeeper/office manager of their business, J.T. & Mullett Excavating, Inc., since they started it in 1993. Her time has also been filled with volunteer leadership of &/or participation in various church & community events over the years. She & Jon have 6 adult children (3 biological & 3 in laws) & 3 granddaughters. Their 3 children are CCS alumni & 2 of their granddaughters have been attending CCS. She enjoys spending time with them while dropping them off &/or picking up from CCS several times each week.

Tami has been a lifelong member of Central Church; coming with her parents on Central’s first day in 1970. She accepted Jesus as her Savior at a young age & was baptized at 12. She & Jon have volunteered in many different capacities over the years. A few of the areas they have been serving with, in most recent years, are chair team, host desk, usher, & children’s ministry teachers.

In her free time, she will sort through and try to stay informed of current issues. She enjoys continuing to read & learning more from the Bible / apologetics. She enjoys time with family & friends with games & humor. She also likes when she can garden, sky watch, travel, & take pics & admits she probably has an excessive number of pics & videos of her granddaughters… but isn’t sorry about it.

Tina Linker, joined the school board on April 26, 2023. She is a Director for the Parkview Heart Institute as a Registered Nurse and received her Nursing Degree from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. Tina is a member of Central Ministries Church and has been involved in the church through a Life group, and as an active member of Central. Tina enjoys time at the lake, taking care of patients, spending time with family and friends as well as going on medical missions and diaster missions to deliver care and minister to those in need. Tina is married to Jason Linker, and together they have 4 children, Mike, Ryan, Tyler, and Taylor. She has 5 grandchildren. 2 of her grandchildren currently attend CCS.

Board member, joined the school board October 2023. Dan is currently retired but has an accounting degree with an electronics certificate from Indiana Vocational Technical College. Dan has been a member of Central Ministries since 2018 and has served on the worship team, in Men’s Group, and are small group leaders and coaches for small groups. He has also served on the married couples mentors group and helps with the MISFITS ministry feeding the homeless once a month. Dan has been married for 48 years; has 2 children and 5 grandsons. Dan and his wife love to travel a lot; especially cruises. Dan also enjoys woodworking on the side.

I have been the Elder Board Representative on the school board for two years. I am a Registered Pharmacist and received my degree from Purdue University. I recently retired and worked at the Ft Wayne VA Hospital for 26 years. My wife and I have been attending Central Ministries for about 11 years. I serve on the Central Care Team, attend a Life Group, and have been an Elder for 5 years. I have been married to Diane for 41 years and have 2 daughters that are married, and we have 4 grandchildren. I enjoy going to Purdue basketball and football games, playing golf, and we love babysitting our grandchildren.
