I was born and raised on the outskirts of Fort Wayne, in Harlan Indiana.  I met my husband when I was in high school.  We have been married since 2019.  In 2021 we welcomed our beautiful daughter Clara into the world.  After having Clara my family knew it would be best for me to find a teaching position that gave me the flexibility of more time at home.  The Gym Position here at Central was a perfect fit for our family.  As well as teaching I love spending time with friends and family.  Some of my hobbies include traveling to new places, reading new books and the many many zoo trips with my daughter. Along with all the ice cream dates in between.   

I attended Woodlan High School and continued my education at Purdue Fort Wayne where I earned my Bachelors in Elementary Education.  Prior to my position here at Central I was a 2nd grade teacher for East Allen County Schools for 3 years. I love being in the school setting and making a positive impact on students throughout the year.  

Central Christian School is such an awesome Christ centered community.  From the relationships built in the classrooms to passing others in the hallways or at lunch God is working in this place and it is awesome to see.  These children/students are our future and God is with them and the staff here at Central. 

I was blessed to have grown up in a Christian home and accepted Christ in my heart at a young age. My faith strengthened and became more of my own faith when attending college.  Where God led me into an education of leading his children.  Throughout the years of struggles and tribulations my faith has grown, and I have learned to depend on God for all of my answers and cast my anxieties on him.  My husband and I have been attending Central Ministries for nearly 6 years where God has blessed us with an amazing community of friends in Christ.  I am so thankful that God has placed me in this position to put his purpose for me into action.
