History of Central Christian School

  • Established in 1996

    Central Christian School was started to be a Christ-Centered alternative to public education. While being academically challenging, the truth is woven into the curriculum, allowing the Word to be ingrained into the students’ hearts for life.

Preschool and Prekindergarten

We offer an early childhood program that is warm and nurturing. This caring environment fosters a child’s lifelong love of learning.

Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten class is a well balanced classroom that mixes a love for learning, hands-on activities, and a structured setting. Students enjoy growing academically in a Christ-Centered environment.

Our students leave kindergarten reading, writing, and knowing their basic math facts. They are ready for first grade.

First-Sixth Grade

Our curriculum at Central Christian School is aligned with Indiana State Standards. We pride ourselves in using Christian curriculum. The students do not only learn more about God from their teachers, but also in their textbooks. A strong Christian Worldview is evident in our classrooms.

Students also participate in all Indiana State testing. Central Christian School is accredited.

Seventh-Eighth Grade

We are very purposeful with our junior high curriculum. Our teachers know and apply the state standards as well as what is expected when a student goes on to high school.

We offer a solid Bible Curriculum that helps students learn how to defend their faith. In the eighth grade, they also get to participate in Dave Ramsey’s Foundations in Personal Finance Curriculum.
