There are so many ways to be involved at Central Christian School by volunteering! Every person planning on volunteering with the students must fill out a volunteer form and have a background check.
CCS Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) Mission Statement
Through prayer and service to our loving God, the purpose of the PTO is to enhance and support the educational experience at Central Christian School to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parent involvement, and to improve the environment at Central Christian School through volunteer and financial support.
If you are a parent or guardian of a child of Central Christian School, you are a CCS PTO member. The CCS PTO is a committee of Central Christian School. The CCS PTO is not a part of PTA which is formally affiliated with the state's PTA organization and the National PTA.

- Learning Labs: Creation
An entire day is devoted to experiencing God’s creation at the Gatchell Farm in Autumn. The students become mini-explorers for the day hiking the outdoors, treasure hunting in God’s creation, asking questions, making observations, playing, special guests, and more!

- Auction and Fish Fry
This is Central Christian School's biggest event of the year to raise funds to help with various areas of the school! It all begins with a silent auction and all-you-can eat fish fry followed by a live professional auctioneer. Volunteer to help; cooking, serving food, set-up, clean-up, selling tickets, helping with the silent auction and more.
- Mother Son Laser Tag
A time for sons to spend time with their mother, grandmother, aunt or any other special mother figure.
- Teacher Appreciation Week
Every year we want to help our teachers feel valued, appreciated and supported as much as we can. A simple way we do that is take the first week of May to say 'thank you' by showering our teachers with special treats and gifts. We also have parents bring in meals during the week.
- Field Day
The CCS student council coordinates fun outdoor games for the entire school. Parents come volunteer help oversee the games, help with special treats and clean-up at the end of the event.
- Pizza Friday
Every Friday during lunch pizza will be offered to the students. We need parents to volunteer during the lunch hour to help pass out pizza and make sure the lunch room is clean.
- Lunch/Recess Volunteers
We need volunteers willing to help with lunch and recess duty for the entire school year. Lunch duty entails helping students open packages and sanitizing tables. Recess duty involves helping students play kindly and safely.
